THE WINNERS OF ‘PANGEA’ MATHS COMPETITION | JUNE 19, 2019

More than 100 000 pupils all around Germany took part in the first round of the nationwide ‘Pangea’ mathematics competition. Only ten best pupils of each age group in the Eastern federal states entered the final regional round that took place on June 8, 2019 in Berlin. Two 6th-graders of the International Lomonosov school in Marzahn – Timofei Kazak and Alexander Khan – successfully represented the school in the competition.

While the first two selection rounds of the competition consisted of multiple-choice questions, the final round included quite complex tasks and puzzles without answer options. Timofei showed a great performance and won a gold medal in the regional final. Alexander also had an excellent result and won an award in the silver category.
We are so proud of our schoolchildren! Congratulation!
