SCHOOL IN TIERGARTEN

The International Lomonosov school in Berlin-Tiergarten, approved by the Berlin Senate and officially recognised by the authorities in 2011, started to operate in August 2006. The school with its innovative teaching concept complements the pedagogial scene of the German capital. Our teaching concept is based on many years of experience in the field of integration of bilingual children into the Germal school system and advanced academic research in international education.
The school is spaciously located in a four-storey building on Genthiner Str. 20, 10785 Berlin. It is home for pupils from the 1st to 10th grade.

The school has recieved the official license for the secondary level II (gymnasium level), which means that pupils can study with us all the way to the high school examination (Abitur), starting from the school year 2019/2020.

THE INTERNATIONAL LOMONOSOV CAMPUS AND THE BOARDING SCHOOL

The International Lomonosov schools in Berlin have been open and welcoming the diversity of cultures, experiences and educational backgrounds of our pupils and their families, our teachers and educators from the first day our first school was established in 2006.

In the International Lomonosov Campus in Berlin we accept not only local children for school studies in grades 1 to 13, but also pupils from other lands in Germany and overseas pupils for:
• school-exchange programs or practical training,
• German language studies during school holidays in our international language camp,
• intensive German courses in our language school,
• the upper secondary school studies in grades 10 to 13 (Sekundarstufe II – Abiturstufe) in our boarding school.

The boarding school studies in the International Lomonosov Campus are best suited to pupils who completed the grade 9 in their homeland schools. The application process for an overseas candidate is the same as for a Berlin-based pupil.

Upon the completion of the upper secondary school with us (grade 13) pupils pass a graduation examination for the German school-leaving certificate – Abitur. Abitur certificate entitles pupils to tuition fee free university study in Germany and some other EU countries, as well as to enrollment to the universities worldwide.

The registration is now open for the studies in the International Lomonosov Campus in 2021/2022 school year.
