WHY ‚GERMAN FOR FUTURE’?
It is not ‘just another language online course’, it is a strategic program preparing a pupil:
- to proceed with the high school study in the International Lomonosov boarding school in Berlin, obtaining there the German high school-leaving certificate – Abitur
- for the future university studies in Germany and some other EU countries tuition fee free.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
Aspiring pupils heading to German high school. The course will help them:
- to improve their German language skills to the level necessary for successful studying in grades 10 to 13 (Sekundarstufe II – Abiturstufe) of our school,
- to get prepared for living and studying in Germany intellectually as well as emotionally.
Pupils eager to strengthen their German skills. The course is sure to help them:
- to get higher marks in German in their home schools,
- to get prepared for tests and exams in German, including those that lead to internationally recognised language certificates.
THE COURSE IS TAUGHT BY OUR TEACHERS. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
- unique teaching style – not like in regular language schools
- state-approved qualification and license for teaching
- 5 years of professional experience in teaching German as a foreign language to international pupils
- only native speakers of German
- proven methodology of teaching German specifically online
- special course program and particular selection of themes and topics within each level A1-B1 – all focused on preparing a pupil for the future high school studies in Germany
HOW DOES OUR COURSE WORK?
- the pupil – at home, any place in the world
- the teacher – at the International Lomonosov school in Berlin, Germany
- from the pupil’s side – willingness to learn German and a laptop or a tablet with an Internet connection
- from the teacher’s side – love for their work and a talent to teach German online in a non-boring way
- classes format – live sessions with a teacher via Zoom

THE COURSE IN DETAIL
- levels – А1, А2, B1
- course duration for each level: 16 weeks / 100 academic hours (1 academic hour – 45 minutes)
WORKLOAD
- German class – 6 academic hours per week split in 3 days
- consulting class ‚High school study (Sekundarstufe II – Abiturstufe) in Germany’ – 1 live-session per month: q&a with our international education experts, informational support, preliminary planning of the pupil’s individual educational strategy
- schedule: 18:00 – 19:30 (your local time)
- Starting dates: year-round, upon request
HOW DOES ‘GERMAN FOR FUTURE’ START?
- the course starts with a free trial lesson
- followed by a placement test
- we come back with the test result and our recommendation of the first course: A1 – from total beginner level or A2 – from ‘basic’ level
And it is all quite simple: a pupil gets an email from us with a zoom-link that is an ‘entrance’ to online course, one click and the course starts!

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- a computer, laptop or tablet with headphones, microphone and camera
- stable Internet connection
- Zoom® for live sessions of online classes (free download and installation)
- email address – for us to send you zoom-links to online classes
A couple of days before the start of the course, we will make an online meeting with you for a technical check of your device and for you to get to know the zoom platform. You will receive a separate message from us.
